 NXT North American Championship Match :
Velveteen Dream (C) vs. Matt Riddle

The company seems high on Matt Riddle and has booked him to look like a strong contender for not only the NXT North American Championship but it seems as if they are positioning him for bigger things going forward as many of his peers are moving to the RAW and SmackDown Live! rosters. Could this be the first steps to Matt Riddle being "The Guy" or in this case, "The Bro" for the black and gold brand?

Velveteen Dream is charismatic personality and talented in-ring performer. Dream seemed to have  taken issue with the recent talent (Lars Sullivan, Lacey Evans, EC3, Heavy Machinery and Nikki Cross) going to the RAW and SmackDown Live! rosters and the surprise announcement that Tommaso Ciampa, Johnny Gargano, Aleister Black, and Ricochet would compete on all three WWE brands. On Twitter, Dream claimed that he was ready to join them as well. Since then he has proven that he is by winning the NXT North American Championship.

NXT Tag Team Championship Match : 

The War Raiders vs. Aleister Black & Ricochet

 The War Raiders ARE tag-team wrestling in NXT. While they haven't been with NXT for very long, they have been nothing short of impressive. They are big, strong and agile to boot. They work a stiff but safe style while performing power tandem offense with speed that leaves audiences in awe.

 Aleister Black and Ricochet are a make-shift tag-team that have taken over a storyline meant for Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa's team #DIY.  The Duo has also been seen on both RAW and SmackDown Live! rosters. They are also competing at WrestleMania 35 for the SmackDown Live! Tag Team Championships.

 Prediction: The War Raiders retain the NXT Tag Team Championships




WWE United Kingdom Championship Match : 

Pete Dunne vs. WALTER

 The Austrian Anomaly made his surprise debut at the end of the historic first-ever NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool event, laying out Gallus’ Joe Coffey with a big boot before coming nose-to-nose with The BruiserWeight. His reign of destruction has not slowed down since, with victories over the likes of Gallus’ Mark Coffey and Kassius Ohno. 

Dunne has held the United Kingdom Title for over 680 days. He has made NXT UK his brand by conquering every challenger in one memorable battle after another. WALTER is feared around the world for his pulverizing in-ring style, including brutal knife-edge chops that leave opponents’ chests sunken and discolored. Standing 6-foot-4 and tipping the scales at more than 300 pounds, the immense competitor simply lays waste to everything in his path. Will the same be true when WALTER steps into the ring with The BruiserWeight inside Brooklyn's Barclays Center?

Fatal 4-way Match for the NXT Women’s Championship : 

Shayna Baszler (c) vs. Io Shirai vs. Bianca Belair vs. Kairi Sane

NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler takes on her toughest challenge yet at TakeOver: New York. As announced by NXT General Manager William Regal, The Queen of Spades will defend her coveted crown against Io Shirai, Bianca Belair and Kairi Sane in what is sure to be a heated Fatal 4-Way Match.

Baszler has held the title since October at WWE Evolution, where she defeated Sane to become the first-ever two-time NXT Women’s Champion. Since then, The Submission Magician has been hellbent on guarding her championship, as displayed in her underhanded tactics in championship bouts against Sane at TakeOver: WarGames II and Belair at TakeOver: Phoenix. Now, she’ll have to face them both, plus Shirai, in a match where she doesn’t have to be pinned or submitted to lose her title.

2-out-of-3 Falls Match for the 

NXT Championship

Johnny Gargano vs. Adam Cole

Johnny Gargano went from face to heel and back again while chasing Tommaso Ciampa's prized possession, the NXT Championship which he affectionately called, "Goldy".  Unfortunately, Ciampa's neck could not handle the tough schedule of working NXT, RAW and SmackDown Live! shows. Worst of all, the NXT Tag Team storyline programmed for #DIY went to Aleister Black and Ricochet. In the meantime, Johnny Gargano is in limbo as it relates to RAW and SmackDown Live! without Tommaso as "Johnny Wrestling" has not appeared on either show since Ciampa's injury took his "Goldy" away.

Adam Cole came into NXT with great fanfare. Along with his Undisputed Era, Cole has a clear advantage in the 2-out-of-3 falls match for the NXT Championship. This match is expected to the Main Event, but it also has a chance to be not only the match of the night but possibly match of the year as well.
